Title Delaware Water Gap from a road bridge
Date 06/20/1925
Year Range from 1921
Year Range to 1930
Description A panoramic view of the Delaware Water Gap from a road bridge. The photographer was standing directly over railroad lines that follow the curve of the Delaware River, which can also been seen as it wends its way through the Gap. There are several switches in the tracks. This may be a railroad siding. One railroad building, possibly a signal tower, is completely visible. The roofline of another building can be seen in the lower right hand corner of the photograph. The Delaware Water Gap cuts through a ridge of the Appalchian Mountains.
